D is for...

Disbelief

My entire family is waiting for my Grandfather to die. Let me rephrase that. My Grandfather is not a member of The Church. However, Church doctrine states that all those who are not members of The Church in this life will be given a chance to join in the next. Naturally, one must be baptized before the new found beliefs will take hold. Though the dead can change religious beliefs, they are unable to be baptized. This must be done by a living relative “on the other side.” My Grandfather says this is good enough for him. Disbelief is in my blood as well.
